May 1, 2004 - Get Outta Town Ride

Join Max & Bailey as they 'Get Outta Town' in their sidecars. This will be the ride that begins their 25,000-mile journey across the country to raise the public's awareness of and support for the Guide and Assistance Dog community that provides specially trained dogs to people with physical disabilities.

Where:

The ride begins from Ray Price Harley-Davidson in Raleigh, NC

When:

May 1st
Registration from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Ray Price H-D the day of the event.

Route:

The ride will be approximately 75 miles and will head west, ending at The Garage Motorsports Bar in Burlington. You will not be eligible to participate in the 50/50 raffle or get your free ride shirt unless you register in Raleigh.

Cost:

$20 per rider, $30 per couple riding together - includes 'Get Outta Town' t-shirt and door prize ticket for each registered participant.

Other Details:

This event already has over 50 pre-registered riders, but we're hoping for several hundred riders to take part in this charity ride. We are working with Ray Price H-D to offer special discounts to riders on the day of the event and will have food & drink available before and after the ride. A local radio station has been asked to do a remote feed from Ray Price during the registration period and local media has also been invited.

Information about the U.S. Hogs For Dogs, Inc. 2004 Ride Across America and logo gear will also be available at the event.

Law Enforcement will escort this ride all the way from Raleigh to Burlington. Drawings for door prizes and a 50/50 raffle will be held at the end of the ride.
